1. About us

Polyplaces Ltd (“Polyplaces”, “we”, “us”) operates polyplaces.co.uk. By placing an order through our website you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing.

2. Products

All sculptures are made to order based on the map area and dimensions you select. Product images on the site are representative; your piece will be unique to your chosen location and configuration.

3. Orders & pricing

• All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is fulfilled. If a price change affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.
• An order is confirmed only after successful payment via Stripe and receipt of a confirmation email.
• Custom-size orders are subject to the pricing displayed at the time of order, including any applicable large-format surcharge.

4. Proof approval & production

Before production begins, we will email you a digital proof of your sculpture. You must approve this proof before we proceed. You are entitled to one free revision at proof stage. Production begins only after you approve the final proof.

Typical production and delivery time is 1–2 weeks from proof approval. We will keep you updated by email throughout.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time before you approve your proof, and you will receive a full refund. Once the proof is approved and production has begun, cancellations are no longer possible as your product is made to your exact specification.

6. Shipping & delivery

We ship to UK addresses only. A tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the postal service or courier.

7. Returns & refunds

Because each sculpture is made to your specification, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will replace it free of charge. You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, with your order number and photographs of the damage.

Refunds for damaged items will be processed within 14 days of our receiving the returned product, or at our discretion a replacement will be sent.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, and branding — is the property of Polyplaces Ltd. The geographic data used in our sculptures is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Data Commons Open Database Licence.

By placing an order, you confirm that any custom label text you provide does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polyplaces Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store, see, or have access to your card details. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and understood that policy.

12. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve the issue. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
